Terms of Service

Vocius is a practice tool for speaking and argument: short games, a projector mode for classes, and, for signed-in students, AI feedback on speeches and practice debates. It's a practice room. Use it to get better, not to compete for you.

Anyone can play the games, Arena and printable cards without an account. Coach Mode is for classes a teacher runs; for students under 13, the teacher uses it under their school's authorization. You must be at least 13 to sign in and use practice reps, Studio or the AI coach. If you use Vocius with a school team or club, follow your school's and your league's rules about AI tools.

Competition organizations like the NSDA allow AI as a research and practice guide but prohibit quoting or citing AI-generated content as a source in rounds. Vocius is built for the allowed side of that line: feedback, judging practice, and sparring. Don't pass off AI-generated content as your own competitive work. It breaks league rules, and it defeats the point.

AI feedback can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. Scores are an AI judge's opinion, not a guarantee of how a human judge will vote. When the AI's output can't be verified or parsed, we show it as unavailable rather than inventing a number. Still, treat everything here as one coach's view, not the truth.

Vocius is free, and features that cost us money each time they run (analyses, coach chat, sparring) have daily limits. Don't create extra accounts or automate requests to get around them. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your recordings, transcripts, and results are yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Vocius is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and we aren't liable for competitive outcomes, lost recordings, or damages arising from use of the service.
